VOLUNTEERING OR (as we prefer to call it) CIVIC PARTICIPATION

Volunteers make an important contribution to communities and neighbourhoods so we prefer to think about this work as civic participation.  At Borderlands there are opportunities to work with our librarian, take on administrative and reception roles or you may like to organise social or community events. Our board of directors are also volunteers so if alternative approaches to governance is your thing then do let us know.
